May 13, 2014 · In a move that bucks the standard set by Microsoft itself back in 2005, both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will drop the requirement for an Xbox Live paid membership to access services like Netflix Open the Xbox Guide (Center Xbox Button,) and locate Quickplay. Scroll two spaces to the right and find the “All” tab. Locate Netflix. Launch Netflix… Voila! If you make sure to always use this quickplay method you can watch movies with friends as much as you please (although, you will be using the old Netflix app.)
