I am still uncertain of the minutes usage while calling using Wi-Fi, am sure it will be consumed, but still who cares as long as you can call or have no dropped calls. Set Wi-Fi Calling to handle all calls, which will turn off the device's cellular connection. See device common procedures for Wi-Fi Calling, and look for the Wi-Fi only or Never use Cellular Network setting. Set Airplane mode to on, then turn on Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Calling. Turn off roaming data in device settings. Wi-Fi Calling: Capable phone and Wi-Fi connection required for Wi-Fi Calling; may decrement plan minutes.
